Awesome, thanks for the info. Sure wish I was baller enough to afford a sweet Motec setup, but it sounds like the Jegs gauge will suffice, lol.

Just paid the car off, so that should free up some funds for the car. Hoping to get new wheels and tires, turbo on, paint and couple body mods. Being single again freed up alot of funds also

I would run the valve cover breather ports to a catch can.

Just read through this whole thread lol. Found out alot of good stuff.
I'm looking forward to boosting my S within a month or 2. I've built and boosted my 93 Del Sol. So I'm fairly familiar with turbos and such... Never on a obdII though. On my Del Sol I would set up a tune on Hondata S300 that would run pretty lean (no NOx emissions here) and adjust the timing a bit and smog it.. That way.
How do you guys do it when running aem ems for example? How do you guys get the monitors to set for smog emissions? Just curious.

i had both of my ports cut off and welded shut and then 2 -10AN bungs to a catch can. I used the Blue ridge motorsports catch can/coolant can and this seemed to be a pretty effective way to catch the oil. when my motor blew i had quite a bit in the can lol.

on my evo i have what would be on these cars, the front port that recircs to the intake, and the pcv hooked into a catch can. i don't really think this is the greatest way to do it, but it at least can catch something and provides some ventilation , though nothing more than just leaving the ports open . this is the same thing that kings performance does for their catch can.

you have to put your stock ecu back in. it is sort of a PITA but i would swap injectors back, map sensor back, stock ecu and you will be able to drive to the inspection station fine as long as you don't boost.

Could I vent the stock ports to atmosphere and then run the two an fitting ports (most likely going to be on the front of the valve cover) to the catch can? I remember seeing that done by a few s2kers
