I only track my car on a road course but I really want to go turbo again but dont want to spend $1,600 on a turbo for the track...just in case I blow $hit up.
I had a t3/60-1 before and would like to use that again....turbos have come a long way since I had one but is a t3/60-1 still a decent option? .48ar.....63ar.....82ar? Only looking for 400whp max and Ill never see below 5.5k RPMs on the track.

I was thinking .48ar for quicker spool as I dont need a lot of HP.

The t3/60-1 is a little dated, but will have no problem reaching 400+whp. My vote is for the larger exhaust area radius ratio (A/R) since you're going to stay in the upper rpm range anyway. Nice avatar. Fellow Linux junkie?

First, I have what is supposedly an omnipower 4 bar MAP sensor that came with my flashpro, but it's completely unmarked. Is there a way I can measure resistance or something to confirm that it is a 4 bar MAP?
Bumping this up. Anyone have any idea how to measure the difference between the pressure transducers?
no but I do have an idea for you. do a boost leak test up to 2 bar and read the voltage coming from the map sensor. That should give you a good enough ball park to tell.

Thanks for the info...as long as its still a decent turbo, I may try it My last one was a .82 a/r and would fully spool before 5k. Maybe a .63 a/r this time around.
Not a Linux junkie... I just like the pic lol

I while ago I saw someone on this board selling a bunch of timing chain covers with bungs for oil drains already welded on. I searched but couldn't find it. Has anyone else seen this?

Thank you. I wasn't sure if it was that guy or not but I sent him a PM earlier today. Hopefully he is still selling those.

I have a friend that can weld it on for me. I will buy another cover and the bung for it. Thanks again.
