My turbo already has what appears to be a restrictor on it, i was just wanting to make sure that is all it needs.

I guess if I'm reading this post correctly, I only need an oil restrictor for a journal bearing turbo if I'm leaking oil?

Sorry for all the noob questions, I just want to do this right the first time and you guys are more experienced than I am

that's a bad ass time, nothing to be ashamed of! it's got an extra two cylinders and it displaces more per cylinder too.

HI GUYS!! finally fell for the the "dark side",

got my turbo kit installed last week and tuned right after it got installed.

one thing that have me concerned is that my oil pressure seems low?

at warm idle (before driving) its only showing 9psi, some times 10psi, more often at 9.

to me it just feels low... any suggestions with what i can do to diagnose?

My f@#king clutch throw out bearing chirps when I fully disengage the clutch. I told it to go f@#k itself. Day was to nice to miss a romp on it.

Only reason I could even hear it is because the amp broke so no music. obviously the fix is to replace the amp to drown out the chirps lol

Are you sure it's reading accurately?

Some googling shows grease on the clutch fork should fix this. Thank god.

Figured I'd post here instead of starting a new thread...

Going to start my FI install this coming monday.. Now my question is, will I be fine tuning on my stock 04 AP2 clutch/PP/flywheel? I know its highly recommend to upgrade the clutch but I'm moving cross country in 2 weeks and wont have enough time to install a clutch, break it in, install my turbo, then tune. All my resources are here in San Diego, along with my tuner.

I am going to be tuning for 6-8psi.. trying to keep the car conservative and as reliable as possible.. so the question... will I be ok dyno tuning on the stock clutch..

Here are my specs
PTE 6262 JB
Steed Speed manifold
Aeromotive 340lph pump
Bosch 850CC injectors

I wouldn't do it. I bet it won't hold and then you have more shit to uninstall in order to swap clutch.

Thats what I'm thinking as well. I could possibly install the clutch, have my tuner build me a decent base map, and I drive like a granny for 500-1000 miles to break the clutch in before going with a full tune.
