People put 275's on the OEM AP2 rear wheels which are 8.5's. That's without fender work, but you'll probably need to get some camber on there. The old BS autocrossers do it though.

I run a 275/35/18 toyo ra1 on a 9.5" rim. It's all about the offset

8.5 is too narrow for a 275. A 10 would be best (well kinda) and 9 at the least.

I'm sure it has. I'd rather see that then putting a 205 on a 10 inch wide wheel

Lol! True that.

I'll be running a 255/275 Hoosier setup on my AP2 rear wheel set this year.

Ok, I've been racking my brain about this all morning after reading a bunch of thread. When I install my wally 400, do I need to run wires to the pump itself or just repin the connector? What gauge is the wire connected to the pump?

The new pump should come with a new connector (that uses 14 gauge wire). You need to run 14 gauge wire from your relay directly to the correct pins (power/ground); using the factory power wire as a trigger for the relay.

This is partially my fault, I still haven't updated my thread with pictures. You need to depin the factory connector and attach your wires directly to the pins.
