I'm using a Walbro 400(416)-lph fuel pump; stock headgasket; FID 2000's; zero issues at 20psi on E85 (well, E77). You're going to max your 1k's around the 500whp range (stock base fuel pressure/E85). A 3mm headgasket is superfluous.

AFK-S2K, it will not hold. Mine got so hot that smoke started coming out of the hood. I removed it and put some gold foil heat shielding on the underside of the hood over the manifold. Works perfectly fine!

I have the FullRace Prostreet manifold myself, also ceramic coated. It didn't take long before the heat shielding started smoking quite noticeably. So I removed the original shielding and put some gold foil under the hood instead.

Thanks for the info. I believe the ram horn style mani creates more heat on the hood than a sidewinder.. but none the less good info.

CMN, this was my fear for the factory shield. I wanted to use it instead of the gold heat shielding just for the fact that i like the appearance of the stock one but it looks like im not going to be able to.
