PTUNING S2000 Turbo System (Pics, Dyno, Pricing)
You need to compare the length by stacking one pipe over the other so you can see the diff in length but they should be the same so you should be fine.
I'm willing to bet that the motor mount on that side is failing. I think the motor torques to the passenger side when under load. The charge pipe would move as far as it could, until it touches something, then the motor would continue to move over until the manifold touches it.
Or it could be that your turbo wasn't clocked 100% correctly or that it's becoming loose and starting to clock itself.
Thats a very strange problem you've got there, but it's something simple to fix once you find the cause.

I went out to the garage and looked at the positioning of my charge pipe in that area and there was plenty of room. I pushed and pulled on it and will not get close to touching the manifold. Now I'm leaning more towards the clocking of the turbo is wrong.
To clock the compressor housing, loosen the 6 bolts that hold the compressor housing to the CHRA (center housing rotating assembly). Once they are loosened, you will be able to rotate the compressor housing to the desired position.
