I have the new pipe installed now. After a test drive I noticed heavy scratches on the new pipe that weren't there before. So my guess is that the charge pipe is rubbing the manifold under load.
Yes, you should remedy this situation first, but I also suggest that you run an exhaust manifold blanket like I did.

Interesting blanket. Would be interested why you purchased that. I love my ATP wrap and always thought shielding was worth every penny.

No it doesn't vibrate...... but I've also used hasport street mounts before this kit no vibrations that was unliveable to me. ...

Yes, I noticed the dash vibrated more and you get some more NVH from the mount but it's nothing you can't get used to. The mount is VERY solid so some increased vibration is to be expected with an upgrade like that.

Where did you buy the manifold blanket? Looks great!
I had it custom made by Levi @ Turbo Performance Products (208) 251-9141 (Excellent customer service!! Stands behind his product!). He deals more with truck turbo diesels, but he can custom make a blanket for anything. I had sent him the dimensions that he needed for the manifold and exhausting housing. He called me back with different ideas that he had for the manifold, I went with his suggestion and they came out great!!! Even fits under the PTuning heat shield without a problem.

When I had my turbo off of the car at the beginning of this year I noticed that the stitching was coming apart on the exhaust housing blanket. I called Levi, he asked for some pics, and he sent me a new one right away.

For all of you PTuning guys I have an e-mail saved with the dimensions that he needed to construct my blankets. PM me and I can forward that to you.

I did the blanket to keep the heat down to a minimum in the engine bay. I am sure that ATP is great quality wrap. I remember talking to you during my build about going w/ATP but they are really$$$$$$. Levi's blankets are a great bang for the buck!

So I was talking to my tuner and he said this

The popping is an anti-lag system, and it's not within the tune. There is a PWM valve in the exhaust stream that pulls in air based on RPM + timing retard to make it function.

For your turbo size, it is not advised to install such a system because it will blow apart the turbo . The turbo needs to be well sized for this application, and you'd only want it when you want to pre-spool the turbo under decel conditions.

I have a GTX30 ,I've seen cars with gt30s shoot flames weird how mine isn't big enough
