SOS Stage 1 Supercharger

I've been monitoring my AFRs like crazy since the pulley swap and it looks good so far. I would highly suggest the fuel pump rewire if you haven't already done so. The fuel pump rewire, pulley and new belt were inexpensive so it was worth the experiment. And the experiment was worth it. I notice the midrange increase the most.

Good to hear, I will probably try it. It's not like the pulleys are that hard to change out.
The wiring upgrade is on my list, too. I think the only time I'd be worried is during the winter when it gets really cold...but then again I don't drive it hard in the winter, or much at all for that matter.

There's rumours floating around that you can upgrade the 1220 impeller to the 1200 impeller. Apparently that's the only difference. I was thinking of going that route but I'm not sure how I would convert an SL blower to a oil feed style blower.

You can't convert an SL to an oil-fed unit. Call Vortech amd tell them that you want to exchange it for a 1200. They'll need the serial number of your blower. From there, they'll give you a quote and an RA number. That's how I swapped from a 1220SL to a 1200 oil-fed. I think I paid $850 for my exchange.

Yea good thread. I’m currently on stage 1 with the fuel management they provided but im looking to get rid of that. Install bigger injectors fuel pump, fuel regulator and kpro. Just trying to understand what I need to uninstall. Sos said the FMU needs to come out. What does that stand for? Fuel management system? ... I bought the car like this so I’m not too sure about install
