The Ultimate GReddy Turbo Kit Thread
heres me setup im going for :
berk HFC
pfab manifold
aem ems
aem wideband
aem boost gauge
Greddy blow of valve ( im not sure which one )
and the rest of the parts such as piping and down pipe will be all original from the greddy kit .
and running at 8psi .what you guys think ? how much power u think il have ? and do u think its a reliable setup ? also is boost gauge needed?

I dynoed at 271hp @7psi the same setup minus the Pfab manifold.. Hopefully you'll get more. Im getting the Pfab manifold and a retune soon. I'll post up numbers when I get retuned. I've had the setup this setup for almost 30,000 miles and it's been reliable so far. I guess it depends on the tune?

is the manifold cracking a very common issue on the greddy kit ? what other manifold will fit ? i wanna be reliable n what causes it to crack
yup it is.. and im not to sure but i dont think theres a replacement.
I think pfab makes one
I finally got the car done!

Specs:
-Greddy Turbo kit
-Fidanza flywheel
-ACT pressure plate & OEM disc
-Berk 3" headerback with HFC
-PORTED WASTEGATE
-BRK8EIX spark plugs
-Castrol Magnatec 5W-40 Full synthetic engine oil
-AEM UEGO gauge
-Autometer 3376 full sweep electric boost gauge
-"European" Octane 98 gas
The Emanage Ultimate was previously tuned by a former owner..
I did some carefull testing on the streets and i got the folowing results from the Boost & wideband gauge:
BOOST: 10-11PSI
-Idling AF 15
-Cruising AF 14/15/16
-Slowly getting on the gas and into boost ( 5 PSI ) AF 12/13
-Full boost 3500-5000RPM AF 11-12.5
-Full boost highway 5000-6000RPM AF 10-10.5
The thing is, the AEM uego CANNOT read lower than AF 10! so i might be hitting AF 9.5 or something... way to RICH!
But it looks like that i can drive around pretty safely on this "old" tune.. I do have an appointment to get a NEW tune..
What do you guys think?

^ i would not boost until the retune if i were you, if your running too lean.
also if our planning to boost over 10psi, your gonna need a new map sensor.
i was looking at the berk 3" as well, im interested in seeing how you do on the tune with creep/spiking issues.

I have not gone over 7500 rpm's and i've not seen the boost going over 11PSI..
I set the autometer boos gauge warning at 11.5 and memory shows it has not passed that mark..
i DO however have ported the wastegate!
