Hi all;

Was searching through this thread and tried recommendations for rectifying an emanage problem that i have but no avail yet.

First off "communicate with E management Ultimate in real-time". The unit i have is used. I downloaded the software from rev/thialand website and then tried downloading the ultimate220.exe from greddy website. It seems that the exe file is not downloaded in the appropriate greddy folder. Whenever i click run from the greddy website> DIRECTORY is prompted>> i choose c location> then click on program files> then trust> then greddy ultimate folder> and its telling me i do not have permission to do so;

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also; im not seeing engine code for ap2 models listed with the software that i have.

Im so close to boost; help me yalll.

So to combat high inlet temps did you upgrade to a better intercooler? beyond that what other tricks did you have in mind.

rebuilding some parts on my greddy kit this winter.

going to have the 18g rebuilt with a slightly bigger, billet wheel.
and thinking about upgrading my downpipe with the details I posted above.

and may add an e85 tune/upgraded injectors to the mix for race days to also combat combustion temps.

beyond that what else did you have in mind?

if you could convert the turbo to external wastegate , and run a pfab log mani with the wastegate flange. That will net you alot more power. and while your at it rebuilding the turbo, ide convert the 18g turbo to a 20g. go E85 with full 3inch down pipe and exhuast. say hi to 400whp

Yeah it's getting 20 upgrade. I've heard the pfab manifold don't flow as well.
I'm just going to go with the custom o2 housing that allows for a 40mm wastegate since the exhaust side has the coveted devided housing and don a mild port on the greddy manifold.

Not sure if this is against the rules so a mod can delete if they wish. If anyone was looking into swapping to a air to water setup on a greddy I have a used PWR 5x6 barrel intercooler I was going to post for sale soon. Rated max is 375whp. With setups in the 300-350 range would probably work pretty well and has less pressure drop than air to air. if anybody was thinking of going that route and looking for one, PM me.

I SHALL REWAKEN THIS LOST THREAD

Hi all. I bought a used GReddy kit a month ago, got a PFab replacement mani and got the turbo rebuilt bc they were both . The first time I installed the turbo, the oil drain flange that comes off of it was hitting the engine
mount. Soooo I take off the turbo and clock the CHRA a little bc it wasn't really straight up and down anyway. Put it back on and the flange still won't fit so I cut the flange down just enough for the line to fit. The line now fits but it's kinda kinked and some oil is leaking and burning on the bottom of the turbo. Next move is to remove the engine mount and grind it down some of the line to fit, and probably buy a new flange. Any other ideas?

Yes save your money and get a proper kit that doesn't feck your engine

I ended up grinding down the mount and it works fine, theres no hokey pokey with oil smoke and stuff because of kinks-- it all runs well.

Had a boost leak at the BOV flange but still made 280whp / 242ft lbs at 11ish psi, dropping to 9.5psi near redline... funny amount of torque for the hp. Most people see around 180ft lbs at that hp. Also the power is really bottlenecking when vtec kicks in at 6800rpm (as high as my tuner could move it safely) because the exhaust isn't flowing that well. Lowering vtec makes the car lose power terribly in the midrange. That 280hp peak is pretty much right at 6800rpm and then just sits there all the way to 9k while torque decreases slowly.

Sooooo I'm getting a retune soon because of that boost leak, plus I got a 70mm single and test pipe and ported the wastegate in an attempt to get the exhaust to flow better. It seems my dremel-porting skills were successful because the boost isn't creeping at all and the car runs slightly leaner in boost.

Goal is 300 ponies without knocking!
