well im having some issues holding full boost latley , im thinking its my boost solenoid but after messing with it im starting to think its turbo or wastegate related. im still gonna buy a new solenoid for the hell of it to see if that works . this is what its been doing . i openned a thread about it .

this is what i posted on the thread this is the issue i am having:
whats up guys ,im running a greddy kit and using a mac boost solenoid as my boost control, i notice after longer drives my stops running full boost when i nail it . when this happens i notice the solenoid is extremely hot , burns your hand instantly if you touch it, is this normal ? should i try relocating the solenoid to a cooler area . is the solenoid over heating or getting to hot that it stops working ?

ive been messing with my solenoid a lil bit more before getting a new one . when i disconnect the solenoid completely i dont boost more then 6-7 psi , that is stock boost. now when i plug it back in , it will boost to 10-11 psi , so its working but not hitting full boost that my car was tunned for , it should be showing 13-14 psi, now when i start my car from a cold start and give it a pull once my car is warmed up it works, it boost full boost like its supposed to , it only stops boosting full boost when ive been driving the car for a while and the solenoid gets burning hot then it goes back to hitting only 10-11 psi . and its not the area i have it in thats getting it hot, i think its the solenoid itself overheating . will some kind of internal short , or faulty solenoid cause this ? what you guys think ?

I was actually having problems with mine dropping back down to wastegate psi before I sold it. Was tuned for 10psi. I always thought it was the solenoid but maybe the wastegate was failing
