i think a vented hood can't hurt. it may or may not be fully functional while moving, but at least i know it let's heat out when you're at a stand still and watching the heat rise out of the vents. That's better than nothing!

My oil feed line on the turbo failed today after a 10 hour roadtrip from OR to CA. I lost maybe 3 quarts of oil at a rest area today

ok, confirmed, i just spent 3 hours installed the Koyo radiator + flex a lite slim fan (i also have mugen Tstat, mugen fan switch, blitz 1.3 bar radiator cap)

hot side piping = tons of room
cold side piping = totally squeezed in, the fan is kinda smashed against the radiator but still fully functional...

went out for a hardcore run for 10 mins and water temp stay under 87 no matter how hard i stepped on it, but its pretty cool outside (1am 70F), will test again tomorrow.

THE FAN IS CRAZY !!! it feels like a dyno fan lol

oil cooler will be installed next week after i measure all the an / npt fittings sh1t, its so confusing...

still not sure if vented hood is a good idea...maybe i'll pick up a vented hood just to test it out, if it doesn't lower the temp by much i'll just sell it
i was able to have stock fan with koyo rad. i just upgraded the fan switch and thermo stat.

lmk on the oil cooler and please list part number/ fitting and pics, i need to do this soon just to be on the safe side
