Where do you get and how do you install the greddy pressure sensor? I have seen a lot about this but kind find it anywhere to buy. Does it just plug and play as a replacement of the stock MAP sensor?

Also, if you use the Greddy sensor, do you put it back to it's original location on the TB and not use the MAP relocation bracket?
I am getting mine installed tomorrow I will post pics

The Greddy MAP sensor is like $136.00, the Harness is $36.00, its plug and play

i suggest at least a 40 weight, like i said, i used a 50 weight and it ran perfectly. I barely had to top off my oil between changes. 30 weight is the recommended oil for our cars in n/a form...the turbo is oil cooled, so the oil gets VERY hot. so yes, i suggest 40 or 50 weight for reliability and performance.
I understand what your saying but I think you mean viscosity not weight. I think we all agree that a 40 viscosity would be a good idea for a turbo s2k. Should we use a 5w or a 10w? I'm not sure the benefit/difference or running a heavier weight oil 10w vs. 5w as apposed to a "thicker" oil 30 viscosity vs. 40 viscosity. Any ideas?

no the greddy sensor does not replace the stock map sensor. you just hook it up to a manifold pressure source, it has a nipple on it like a boost sensor.

PRESSURE SENSOR (3.0kg/cm2, secondary MAP sensor ) PN:16401301 $120.00
PRESSURE SENSOR HARNESS (use with 16401301) PN: 16401406 $35.00

you need the harness and sensor and it can plug directly into your emanage. Order from any Greddy dealer.
So with the Greddy pressure sensor you still need the oem MAP then....
I though it replaced the MAP but i guess I was wrong.

As a rule of thumb for an application with high oil temperatures the closer the two umbers the better so 15w-30 is better than 10w-30 which i better than 5W-30. However the original Honda bearing clearances and oil pump war designed for 10w-30 so make sure that you choose your oil properly. I am not well versed in the mechanics or chemistry associated with oils so I have chosen to stick with 10w-30 PAO Synthetic (Mobile 1).

If you use the Greddy sensor you will have to real scale your maps to use the Greddy pressure sensor and the Emanage will not do it for you. I have a thread started on this now.

You're right, I mean viscosity

yeah there's no way you can physically replace the map with the greddy sensor, the greddy sensor is universal. I believe you can remove the map relocation though since the emanage will be running off of the greddy map instead.

MAF sensors can be removed with the use of the greddy sensor though. maybe that's what you were thinking of.

So the car will read both the Greddy pressure sensor and the map? Couldnt I just remove the map and put in the Greddy pressure sensor where the map was? (Attached to the Greddy piece that goes on the throttle body?
