Once you select the greddy pressure sensor under the parameters in the ultimate, i don't think it reads off of the stock map anymore. If this is the case, then you can probably do what you say and hook it up to the greddy supplied fitting on the TB. But i'm not 100% certain...i think you might need to still have the stock map hooked up. i'll try to find out.
update: yes you need to run the stock map sensor. the ecu needs to read off of the stock map, eventhough you are tuning off of the greddy sensor. The ultimate will only use the greddy map though.
On the contrary, with a little ingenuity we can do anything. With the will to do it the Emagange can accomplish quite a bit, the problem is that Greddy doesn't take advantage of the strengths of the unit. For instance it can control Vtec, Nitrous, and has many other features. They never published any real information on the unit and the Japanese to English translation are near impossible so trying to figure it out is not for the laymen.
I'm interested in learning how to control Vtec with the emanage! Also, now that I know how much the Greddy pressure sensor is and how to hook it up, I need to ask the question I should have asked first.... What does it do?
glad you guys can get some useful info from this. I have a 'souvenir' greddy turbo center cartridge that i will disassemble and take pics of soon...this will give some of you a better idea of the internals of a mitsu/greddy turbo, and why in and out play is bad while side to side play is not necessarily bad.
