after 20 hours of research, i finally found out that my firmware was not up to date. so i downloaded the ulitimate220.exe and it is now communicating with the emanagement.
situation now:

1. i turn on the software, hooked up with usb to EMU, key on without starting engine.
2. PC shows "ONLINE, communicate with E management Ultimate in real-time?", i pressed ok.
3. right corner green icon flashing, right bottom shows ONLINE.
.
.
.
so what do i do next? i got the AP1 base map named "US_TK_AP1_ORIGINAL.em2", what should i do with it? how can i confirm that the AP1 base map is imported into the EMU??

i tried to import the date from EMU to my PC, i clicked ok and it asked me for password again. i pressed cancel and a message said any change in the map will not be effective on EMU. i clicked ok and nothing shows in my PC window.
i tried to open the AP1 base map and do the export from my PC to EMU, same thing but after the password thing, it shows "language text not found!! At Index [74]", i clicked ok, then a empty message box pops up, i clicked ok again and nothing happens.

this is the 3rd night that i m doing this till mid night and still havent start my s2k after the kit is installed.

ALSO: i cut the green/grey wire in the PNP harness (AP2 PNP harness). m i done with the convertion? what about the grey wire that mentioned? hook up to the yellow TPS?? which wire is the TPS because most of the wires are in yellow.

sorry for all my stupid questions. most people might figure it out right away but i need more explaination and help. i m worse on electrical wiring...

i might have to call greddy tmr, not sure if they will help me through this...

thank you for all u guys help.

great thanks to jari8378 for the follow up. u really helped me out. all i have to do it click the "clear the map" button which i was scared to do.
yea i got my s2k on the ground running. and i actully hooked up the wire too. for the harness, there's actully unplugging the green grey, and connect the wire directly toward the grey wire, which i found that there's an extra yellow wire with an open plug coming out from the same pot.

so, my AP1 seems to run fine.
here's my set up be4 my questions:
bone stock, greddy turbo kit, stock cat, blitz TT realize cat back (dual) 60.5mm.
1. sure i felt the power gain. boost was pretty nice untill 6k rpm, vtec kicks in and i felt the torque drops. rpm raises slower after 6k rpm. is that the vtec dips that everyone was talking about?
2. i felt some denation when i boost at 4th gear WOT, not all the time, sometimes. havent change the stock plugs yet. do i really have to? can i get it from the honda dealership for the ISO -8 plugs or i need the one from greddy?
3. my blitz exhaust seems to be restrictive right? might wanna upgrade it to the greddy TI-C dual, 70mm?

overall, i like the quality of this kit. runs like stock turbo, very smooth. although the power feels no where close to my bolt-on tuned Evo, i believe a test pipe, better exhuast and a tune will bring up the power. now i might just stay on the stock map, stock cat for a while.

again, thanks for the great help jari8378!!

Hi all, this is a nice thread everyone got going, alot of info etc....
I was wondering if someone can help me. i just purchase a used greddy kit from a fellow s2ki member. problem is its a ap1 kit, and i have a ap2 is there a way to make the harness work on ap2 instead of having to purchase another one? Is the greddy map sensor needed as well?
i'm new to the greddy kit as well as boost.

there is a diagram showing how to convert the harness on the very first post of this thread.

greddy map sensor is not necessary, but useful.

Punkelvin. Get NGK BKR8IEX <-- should solve your detonating problem.

s2kbot. Read the first couple of pages on this thread and they should instruct you how to modify the harness.

im rocking the greddy kit with a HFC and j's 70RS.

Im looking into getting a silencer for longer trips (there's a little too much drone for me on prolonged rides)

I know ill loose power while the silencer is in but will i have any other negative effects? (Seeing that the emanage was tuned with the exhaust at full flow)

Also im moving to Colorado for work and my car will soon be at 9000 feet elevation.
It was tuned here in socal at HB speed. Any idea how it will react? need retune?

thanks in advance!
