I noticed when I had installed my js racing test pipe on the stock exhaust the smell wasnt that noticeable however i was getting black carbon build up on the rear bummpers. When i installed my fuji legalis r catback paired with the test pipe it smelt horrible and made the exhaust note louder and more raspy/farty didnt sound good at all so ditched it for my berk hfc!

I personally have a Berk Test Pipe along with my HKS exhaust, and I love it. I personally don't really mind the smell. It smells the same that a motorcycle's exhaust...

You can get pulled over for stink and soot - cops know what test pipe cars look and smell like, and in an emissions county its free ticket revenue. Follow a TP car for 10 feet and they will know based on the stink, if they see you idling with crap coming out of the exhaust they will know. Test pipes aren't stealthy at all.

The other question to ask is if you have adjusted the tune of your car with the FlashPro after you put the test pipe on?

I know that when I put the CAI on mine, when I got on the throttle hard....it sounded like crap and was very loud. Once I was retuned, it sounds great.
