Default APR GTC-200 Wing?

I'm thinking of switching to this wing, from a no name I bought a while back. Anybody know how it works on the Honda?

It's what I run. Fuggin works great. Huge difference (vs. wingless).

I loved mine, and the guy I sold it to won the Speedventures time attack at Buttonwillow today.

(I never should have sold it! )

The trunk should be reinforced, however, for the install. I noticed today that the downforce has really buckled the stock trunk it's mounted to.

^^ I'm that guy. Personally I think the mounts are in a bad location. They are mounted near the center of the trunk where it is very weak so it flexes under the slightest of forces. I'm looking into trying to mount it near the edge trunk where it is stronger or just welding some bars in...

Also, don't think its quite tall enough to get clean air. I'm not sure about this though becuase yesterday was the only day I really used it and since it was raining I don't think I got to the speeds where the wing really helps...

You can get versions of this wing with different mounting widths. The one I ended up with is for an STi and the mounts are near the edges of the trunk lid. Give APR a call and I'm sure they can hook you up with the right version. I didn't like the original mounts (don't fit the trunk very well and a little low for clean air), so we made some custom mounts that work a lot better.

I've been very happy with mine. I did not reinforce my trunk lid. Just mounted it right at the rear edge of the trunk. You can get the wing pretty cheap online. I got my direct from APR for $425. Not sure if they're still doing it, but at the time they were giving big discounts to people with competition licenses.

If you got bling, then the J's racing wing is pretty good too.

It mounds at the 2 sides of the trunk, so reinforcement is not required.

It is expensive though.

Can you put bigger end plates on? In my reading, that seems to make a big difference because of spillage.
