I've yet to get a hold of or get a return call from anyone in sales at Cobalt. I've tried calling the dealers they list. I've only called a couple, but so far I've yet to find anyplace to buy.

Anyone else get these on order? Where from?

ps I'm kicking myself for not getting a season's worth of pads. I qualified 1st at the SCCA regional this last weekend against a few Evos, some bimmers, etc all running ITE. I didn't get to race ... well ... because I'm a dumbass and didn't have any brake pads left up front.

More like d'OH!

No, I first tried calling them a couple of days after your post. I followed up with them a few times, but wasn't really stressed about it so I just voice mail. Never heard back from them. I called again this morning and was told no one in sales was available to take my call ... and did I want to leave a message?

I was an idiot to not get something on order, I was confident I had plenty of pad left. I'm surprised how much faster the 18x10s go through pads.

I just placed an order with Mike at PDQ. He answered the phone and was very helpful. You can get contact info off the Cobalt site (listed as a dealer) or their web site http://pdqmotorsports.net/. Thanks L8 for the tip.

Mike Quan (PDQ) is a good guy and a fellow racer.

I have to give the new XR2 pads from Cobalt a big

I was getting the brakes quite hot and they held up much better than I expected.

This car did double duty as a race car and Time Trial car. The after weekend inspection showed almost no ware the pads!

BTW - PDQ it the only place I get my brakes from

sorry about your motor. You lose a motor and manage to get a new one swapped in time to race. I wear my pads out and DNS.

The guys at cobalt are recommending either XR4 rears or GT-Sport rears to go with the XR2's. They feel that the XR2 x4 would be too much for the rears and the rears would probably lock up well before the fronts.

I'll be sure to post up a combo deal for the XR2 front's and GT-Sport rears since I've got a big load of them coming in. They also don't always come in that really nice box.

Looks like you already got a price for each of them listed on your site. I wonder what the combo deal will be like
