After talking to Mike at PDQ, he rec. either XR5 or GT-S. He said the majority of guys are running the GT-S in the rear.

So I am stuck between the XR5 and GTS. Fronts easy---> XR2

I assume Mike you are running the XR2 in the front?

That's what I have in the box ready to install, yes. As I said, I haven't actually run it yet.

For those running the XR2/XR? setup with R-comps, how many days are you getting with them before they become unusable? Also, is PDQ the source of choice for these things?

Id say PDQ is the place. Mike is a good guy, and will help you out quite a bit.

weve been selling the XR3 and GTS compounds in the vendor forums for a bit, i may add the XR2 as well if you guys are looking for them. Ive only had a few requests thus far. Generally we stock most of the compounds for the S2k, both front and rear. Worst case, even is cobalt is out, they can usually get us any compound within 3-4 days, even if they dont have it on THEIR shelf.

FYI, the pads now come in plastic coffins! haha

I like the XR2s more than the VRs... scored my rotor pretty bad though.
been through 3 days and 500 or so street miles... still plenty of meat left.

Just run PDX today with XR2&VR combo, Love them. Never fade no smoke a little smell at the end of each session. It start noisy on the way back home.

Highly recommend...
