I just noticed something interesting after spending the morning inspecting all of the suspension bolts and torque settings.

The drivers rear assembly is set to about 5mm less preload than the passengers side yet still has about 3mm more fender gap. I disassembled everything to make sure that I had originally assembled them correctly. Everything checks out fine. Does anyone else have this issue? The car seems to drive fine. There's nothing unexpected when transitioning.
I wouldn't worry about it. If I remember correctly, to get the same wheel gap in the front I needed 5 mm more preload on one of the shocks, and 3 mm more preload on one of the rear.

Once I finished, I got a fender to wheel center space of 13.25 inches front and back, which is approximately a 2 finger gap.

This required me to lower the front .75 and rear 1.25 inches from stock ride height.

But may I add a question: how does reducing the stock rake affect handling? I prefer the even wheel-gap look, but I know I lost some rake doing it.

Reducing shock rake should quicken steering response and lessen the lateral load on the front shock assemblies.

Your sway bars my have some bind in them, get adjustable end links.

Also, check the ride height on the chassis, see a shop manual for the location.

We have some rough streets here and my car is mainly a road car.
I went with Kobe's settings for the UK with KWv3s which were Bump out 1.5 F&R and Rebound out 1.5 front, out 2.5 rear.

Delivered they were actaully set to 0.75 out Bump, front rebound was 1.5 and rear rebound was 1.5.

This was VERY harsh and made the front end way to bouncy on our undulating freeways (still slow piston speeds due to large, smooth undulation).

Taking abck the rebound made a massive difference to traction and comfort both ends, and the reduction in bump produced a tight but slick street ride.

If I recall correctly, it's 3.75" from the ground to the jack points, higher in the rear for your desired rake.
