Marc, my wheels are 18x11 classics (race version). I'll provide weights when I get them.

They were only $2500 plus shipping in "race" trim.
I also like the looks of the race classic version more. Mine were at 2700 shipped, so the total costs were somewhat close. At least the extra weight for your wheels in more on the hub (better location) verses the perimeter of the wheel. I'm not sure how much the classics would weigh for the S2000 measurements. What does the "race" trim mean? I weighed my wheels on a bathroom scale so you never know if it was reading light or heavy. I will try to weigh them again before mounting tires on them.

Edit, meant classic version...

Race is just full swiss, not cut for center caps, lightweight hardware, etc.

Looking forward to see some pics from Robert here today!

STR in 2013 so he says...

I am pretty interested to see how he fares. I sent him a bunch of set-up info today to get him a baseline to work out what works best for him.

Yeah BP won't be in STR for long BC he actually will have to pay for tires in that class lol! I look forward to seeing his car develop locally.

He went with the 1st gen 350 with the better torque and lighter overall weight.
