Prepping for BSP
your welcome! I posted and then had the thought, "I think I have some pictures on my photobucket."
I'm amazed throne made it to 2400! I want the secret "2400 LBS BSP recipe book!"
I only have pictures of weights with a 150 lbs driver in the driver seat. I figure the car can't exactly drive it's self so the only numbers that matter are the ones with me in it!

It depends on what you're assuming for unsprung weight too, so if we assume 50 lb per corner unsprung (wild ass guess), and 700 lb front corner weight and 675 rear, then I get:
Front NF: 2.58
Rear NF: 2.37
I'm using 187*SQRT(WR/SW)/60
SW= W/4-W/4*.075
This is all from a spreadsheet that another member made, I have a few of them, this is from one that's printed out in my binder. I could possibly be wrong I suppose but I doubt it. ;/ If your numbers are correct I'm glad I'm running the spring rates I am, I'd hate to be any softer...
In before "bench racing is stupid"
Edit- Jon posted while I was typing
SW= W/4-W/4*.075

I didn't type that formula correctly...meant 187.8*sqrt(WR/sprung weight) then divided by 60 (187.8/60 being 3.13)....
I get John's numbers with the 50lbs off per corner and 2.46/2.28 just using Josh's scale numbers. I suck at math...

Conekiller- Robert posted in a thread the other day saying..
"2400 even, thats all you can get out of a BSP s2000. If i spend another 7 grand(which im not), i could claim 2350 from brakes and alternator plus two or three carbon pieces around the intake side. Note that this is fully fully prepped and with a quarter tank of fuel (no it doesnt starve anymore at that level)"
Now out of the famous words of Marc P- "Weights don't mean crap unless it's same scale, same day, back to back"
I just posted my cars weight above with half tank of gas and 150lbs worth weights in the driver seat. So I'm showing my STR prepped AP1 weights in at 2634 in that picture. It's actually around 2615 or so now and for a few more thousand I can get to 2600 flat I think!. A fully prepped STR CR is in the 2550 range. This has been done over and over by the top CR STR drivers in the nation, they just don't talk about it much.
In BSP I'm sure atleast 50 lbs can come off a CR over a STR build but I'm not a mastermind like Robert, He has to speak for himself and give the secret recipe on how to get that low. Could just be a difference in the scales used but Roberts good at what he does.
It makes me laugh at people jumping into the ring with drivers like Marc P and Robert T, almost like David vs Goliath.
I was once told Marc and Chuck Norris raced around a autox course, Marc won, by 6 seconds. The only person that typically beats Marc P, is Marc P. One more... I once heard Marc P ran a course in reverse, he still won that day.
