BTW Dave - the CRX can't run in STR with a diff, its an inclusion only class.
On that note - some have tried running a diff in an ST Civic/CRX and went exactly zero much faster

Oh well, with your point of LSD not helping, the point is moot.... Then again, if a CRX STS prepped could keep up with the S2000, then maybe not. LOL We will see in Blytheville.
Thanks for the clarification!!

I look forward to meeting you guys at Blytheville my name is Whitt Deming I'm the RE of Mid-South region SCCA the host region and will be there the entire weekend.I will be working the event,I haven't bought a S2000 yet and my current car isn't legal for STR [10" wide rear wheels and 285/35 rear tires], I sold my Hoosiers and autocross wheels in preparation of selling my 350Z NISMO and to buy a S2000.

As for "member comment" I encourage everyone that cares to write a letter to allow for more ECU tuning options. This would make an s2000 STR build a lot cheaper without having to get an 06+ for its tuning ability.
Then, while you're thinking of the other cars... add in boosted cars and their limitations... that adding a piggyback will gain them more than a flash could in some particular models.
IMHO, leave the ECUs as they are (then again, if I had my way there'd be NO ECU tuning at all. Stock ECU. Period. Easy to check to see if anythings been changed/flashed in most instances.

I am thinking long and hard about prepping my 08 for next year. I need to buy fresh race rubber for the start of the season anyway and I wanted to buy light weight wheels and a set of 17x9 949 Racing wheels will cost basically the same as a set of OZ Allegerita stock legal wheels. Then I can take the difference in tire costs between a set of Dunlops and Hoosiers and get some coilover sleeves for my Konis. Then develop from there. It is a tough call. I know I have been discussing it with Nick on setup and my local AS competition mainly Karl Shultz.

Yup thats the plan. Andy will be there both days and he's no slouch.
Our RE-11's are approaching 130+ runs and the two middle lines are just starting to disappear on the fronts so they'll be right in their prime and ready to come after you

Those people must have bought $hit diffs. I went from no LSD to a quaife and started woopin a$$ left and right. The difference is worlds apart. I also think 2 way lsd will be better for auto-x if you can adjust your driving style to it.

I've been thinking of it too Keith. Basically trying to decide if I do go down that path, what first: wheels and tires or Koni's and sleeves since I doubt I'd be able to do both within 6 months of each other.
