Correction, "Battery Plus" not Walmart.

Well, where ever they sell "Interstate" batteries from. It's so... Nascar-ish hahahaha.

Does this seem like the proper way to instill the ball bearing assembly into the gendron mounts? Something about this seems wrong.

When I put the other silver plate on the other side of the mount I did not have enough clearance to fit both plates flush to the mount. So this was the only way I could seem to get it assembled.

The assembly is going into the flat side of the mount.

I think that's right. I remember thinking the same thing.

I have the plates straddling the mount, and while they're not flush, the bar still seems to work ok. I mailed Bill Gendron pointing him to this thread, so hopefully he can shed some light on this.

I put the plates the same way as in the picture. Straddling the mount gave the bearing too much play. But I definitely had to think about it.

What ride height are most of you running? Please state what year your car is.

Measuring from the ground to the bottom of the fender well (in the center of the fender well) our AP1 sits at 63cm.

As posted here before 12.25" F and 12.5" R from hub center to metal fender edge. Measuring to hub center is a more accurate/consistent way to measure this as it eliminates the variables associated with the wheels/tires (pressure, tread wear, etc). Springs are 850F/750R. AP1 2003.

I had the same thought as everybody, then called Bill last year. Plates go on the same side so they have absolutely not play on the bearing.

Here is the reference Bill sent me:

I can't remember if this is my car or reference, but another pic:

Ground to fender well, 24.5 (62.2) and 24.7 (62.8). Tires are at 3/32nds or so. 780/680 on 2001 AP1. Top of the fender well looks a little crunchy.
