Here's an observation: my 2006 with 255s on all four corners with no other changes besides 9" wheels on all corners has a pretty decent balance. WTF?

So I have a Decision to make and want opinions from you all. I will almost certainly have the funds to do one or the other of the following two things. There is a small possibility I will be able to fund both but and if I can I obviously will:
I can either
A) buy a set of lighter wheels in a non-staggered setup
Or
B) Keep my Current 17x9 rear/ 17x8 front(cannot go wider than bout 235 in front due to the +48 offset in front) Setup and do a coilover setup.
I currently am being driven nuts by inside rear tire lift and the resulting wheel spin, as such I am leaning towards coilovers, I also have had no issues with understeer.
any thoughts, I am also open to any other suggestions. suspension wise I have an 01 with stock suspension and a good alignment

Keep the 17x9 rear and get some front wheels? What tires are you running?
And really, some coilovers with the right spring rates will probably net you better times on course.
