S2000 STR prep resource
At least in STR we don't have to go with a goofy/crazy stiff FSB to help address that rear wheel lift.
If/when I go STR, I will likely still keep my current FSB (so I can switch back to B-Stock) but go to the softest setting and spread "the fix" with stiffer springs... instead of letting the bar do all the work.
Hmm... are we still going to see rear wheel lift with street tires? Amazing!

I currently am being driven nuts by inside rear tire lift and the resulting wheel spin, as such I am leaning towards coilovers, I also have had no issues with understeer.
^^^ Considered it... but i already have a lot more body roll than id like... It is something I plan on trying if I continue to have the wheel lift problem with coilovers.... Unless someone gives me a really good reason to do the wheels instead my plan is to order Custom Koni's and 600f 500r springs, If I still have wheel lift after tuning the shocks and everything, then try disconnecting the rear bar.

Why yes, yes I have.
I started on 600/500 with the Koni's and rear bar attached. The rear end would just skip across the surface and the car felt very nervous at the limit. Ditched the rear bar and everything was great. Definitely need a big front bar with Koni's and anything under 1000lb springs.

This thread needs more action.
Here's an observation: my 2006 with 255s on all four corners with no other changes besides 9" wheels on all corners has a pretty decent balance. WTF?

^^^ Sounds good. Im planning on still driving the car on the street so it sounds like it will be a good start for me and If I decide later to build a national level car I can always revalve again and order new springs. Sounds like I have the rates about right for what i want
