I think I'll be going to Dromo 1 with some of the guys from Road & Track after work some time next week. I weigh 195 lbs. What're you weighin' in at DT?

dt fits into my Recaro SPG seat which is very narrow
...though it did feel a bit roomier after he got out.

Yes, as Richard points out I'm currently a little overweight, though I'm told I "carry it well". I'm at 225 now. Looking to get down to 195. Weight Watchers didn't work for me so now I'm following Hayashi's advice and eating lots of Zingers, or whatever it is he stocks in his trailer.

Rev, let me know when you're going, it sounds like fun.

Where's Karner slunk off to? That guy is sketchy.

I was fairly chubby as a kid/teenager. The thing that worked for me is a little known secret: eat right and exercise. It really is just that simple. Actually doing that (and sticking to it) is where most people have trouble. Don't eat fried food, don't drink soda, etc. Exercise 5-6 days a week with a combination of weights and cardio (running, biking or whatever). It WILL work, it's just hard to do and requires a big time/effort commitment.

Anyway, fitness pep talk aside, I'll find out on monday what the details are for dromo and let you know.

Hey guys!

Listen, ixnay on the Dromo. My friend just opened a new kart track at the Irwindale speedway. The karts are faster and lighter than dromo. And they have adjustable WEIGHT BALLAST!

Really cool. I took docofmind to the grand opening and he dug it the most.

So, instead of dromo, let's set up a time and go Irwindale instead?

If you get me a time and date, I can get us in.

Let me know.

P.S. Aaron, they have a Jenny craig across the street, so you can get on the treadmill while Rev and I toss down some cocktails at the open bar.

Irwindale is just up the freeway from me. I'd like to try it!

I'm game for that. We actually got an invite to that new track here at the office, but none of us were able to make it out on either of the days that the invite was good for. Hopefully they keep tire pressures equalized on these karts!

Yea, Aaron is gonna be blowing on the tires.

It's some kind of agreement between Weight watchers and the kart track.............
