Lol at supercharged firebird
[QUOTE=Burt Reynolds,Apr 5 2009, 08:09 PM] Well, I guess you are new here. See, we have lots of haters here, pretty much whatever you post in street encounters will be over scrutinized regardless of how plausible. And don

Dude good one. Enjoy the car. The Yellow S2K's are my favorite. Everybody knows that Honda put bigger horses in the yellow ones, lol.
It is really hard to gain much HP from a Honda with bolt-ons. They do a great job tuning the intake and exhaust to the engine and don't leave much on the table, unless you go to NOS or forced induction.
As one of the other posters said, many random things happen on the street and when a car lines up with you, you never know if he can drive or not. Not to put too fine a point on it but, sometime take your car to the dragstrip and post a timeslip. Maybe yours has a hemi in it. Most stock S2K's do really well to post a 13.8 or 13.9 ET and most that I have seen running in the real world post closer to a 14.3 or so more or less depending on the DA and the driver. A stock Trans AM WS6 will trap a 13.8 to 14.0 flat so it is possible to beat one. But with a supercharger on it,... that is a tall order unless he just don't hook up, lolo.
Example a Camero SS F-body with a chip and a exhaust is a 13.1 sec ET car. TransAm/Firebird is same car but they came with so many different engines and set ups LS1/LS2/V6 etc, that unless you got under the hood, who knows what it was. I was at the strip last year and a Firebird was running 11 sec but he had swapped the engine for an LS6 and had a few mods, lol.
I've got a buddy that had a F-body SS Camero with a belt driven SC'er on it. He mostly ran 1/8th mile but in the 1/4 he was an easy 11 sec car with drag radials on it. I believe that you kept up with him or even beat him but don't expect to do it every time

Only worth it for N/A if you're going ITB's imo.
