M3 vs. S2000
I'm not sure what uh huh means...like I making this stuff up or something. I had him off the line easily (my S2K is stock & so was the M3), and then it was a matter of him catching me. We stopped at about 85, but a few more seconds and he would of passed me...
To be honest, I'm not sure which it was. It was damn beautiful looking, interior(complete w/ navigation system) and exterior. His father just bought it and he brought it there with about 1000 miles on it. So whether it wasn't broken in, or he didn't know how to drive it, or the S2000 was just as fast...that's what happened. I'll try and find out exactly what it was...
I believe it!
In a street race, it all comes down to the driver.... So how is it so unbelievable that an S2000 beat a new M3? If you had a bad driver in the M3, but a flawless driver in the S2000, it is more than possible for it to win!
I would like to shake the hands of the man who beat that German scrap of metal!!!!

Why race if you are going to loose for sure? There is no way in hell that a stock s2k with an idle launch is going to equal the performance of an m3 doing the same!!!!!!!! :
I will say it again, either race from a rolling start at about 25 mph+ or DO NOT RACE OTHER PEOPLE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO DUMP THE CLUTCH at 6-7k RPMs.
People who do these things give us all a bad name. What is the point of racing if you already know you stand no chance in hell. If the BMW owner has a big mouth, he will spread it all over the net.

I've beaten a few Cobras from a launch as well as other M3s from a roll. The video was just made for fun. Sorry I'm making others look bad.
In my defense though... I can't beat him from a launch either or from rolling. His car is too modded. Well it was. I'll beat him now (his car is sitting in the driveway with a blown engine.
).Here's a previous thread I posted (actually, I made mention of a previous video in it, not the one that we're discussing):

Hey thats a great video, I always love watching S2Ks racing another car!
But just a bit of advice, you need to practice on your shifting. Thats probably why you lost. Yeah launch was bad, but if you shift right, you should have been much much closer to the Bimmer.
Im sure someone already said what I did, but I didnt read everyones responses
