RX7 or S2000
There have only been three cars introduced since 1990 that I have really wanted, the RX-7, the Boxter S, and the S2000. I couldn't afford the RX-7 when it came out or I would have gotten one. I chose the S2000 over the Boxter on a price/performance basis, and didn't get a used RX-7 only because I wanted a new car, with a warranty, and while I absolutely love rotary engines finding a good mechanic for one is much harder than for a Honda engine.
If I already had the RX-7 I'd keep it, esp. a '95! I'd still buy the S2000 though

Then there's the Supra...this seems to be the be all and end all of Japanese sports cars. Excellent build quality, incredible engine that can stand 600rwhp + on the stock bottom end, great looks, rare, nice cross between a coupe and a convertible (targa), infinite mod potential...but something about it seems too 'bulky'. Weighing in at almost 1000lbs more than the RX, and about 700 more than the S2000 I think I would have a really hard time having fun in the car (maybe I'm wrong of course). Plus the used prices are fairly ludicrous (94 TT 6 speeds going for $25k+, 6k over bluebook). I guess that's why alot of rotorheads call them 'fast camrys'. Maybe that's a good thing though.
Anyway as you can see I'm fairly undecided as to what to do - no Honda dealership around here will allow me to testdrive the S2k, so that makes me a little more hesitant. I've never really driven a Supra before either, so I'm lost on all counts =)

Can't test drive one...weird. I just e-mailed my local dealership and had a test drive the next day. Just keep trying more places.

When we stop judging cars solely on 0-60 times and quarter times, we'll all be better off
I sure hope that means I finally get admitted to this cool club I remembered while reading some of the posts on this thread -
LOL Hey guys what's with all the Photoshopped starfilters on the jewellery. You look like mobile Cristmas Trees!
Actually no! I wasn't joking about the 0-60 thing.
Put it this way when I was a kid we used to build trolleys out of old bits of wood with pram wheels and a piece of rope to the front 'axle' for steering. Now.... bolt a V8 engine on the back of that trolley, lets say.... twin turbos too. Being very light, I suppose you'd have a Saturday night drag race winner as long as you could pull on the rope hard enough to keep it in a straight line. But....... how would it be round the twisties!
