SupraQuick
Go to Supra board and talk all you want.
why waste your energy here? compare stock vs stock. Both cars are great.
I feel S2000 has got more handling, though. According to your logic, Supra is a piece of shit when compared to NSX. isn't it?
My best friends have both Supra(single Turbo conversion, about 500rwHP, low 11's) and RX-7(low13's). We never have an argument who's car is superior.

RX-8 is coming out next year. It should be better than RX-7. a way better to maintain.

No! The RX-8 is not there to replace the RX-7. It's a different car (GT) Grand touring with a NA high revving rotary setup with a est. 230hp a the crank. It's good to bring back the rotary engine and yes hopefully it will be alittle better for people who kick around there engines. But It will not be on exact par with the 3rd-gen.
Now I've heard if the RX-8 does well they will re-design the car to replace the RX-7 Sports car.

Get the S2k. I just got one 3 weeks ago. Silver/Red '02 and would not take nothing for it. Leave the Rx-7 and get the S2000.

I'm surprised at you. A man of your education should know that style in itself is subjective, not objective. This simply means that style is open to individual interpretation, and not an exact "thing" that can be quantified. If you want your education to show, act the part...don't talk the part. You must have meant style for you .

As for the original question...

I can't help thinking that you are unhappy in some way with your RX-7 DMENACE21, if you weren't you wouldn't be asking the question (in my opinion). Ask yourself what you wish your RX-7 had that the S2K can give you and you will have answered your own question.

come on peple, its ok to disagree and argue a little, but no need to be mean to each other. degrading other people only serves to degrade yourselves.

the stock rx-7 and s2000 have very similar performance capabilities. they are different, but one is not necessarily better than the other. it all depends on your personal taste. very few of us will drive our cars like a motortrend test driver, those insane numbers really dont matter that much as long as you enjoy your car.

if a convertible is important to you, buy the S. if you cares about performance more than anything else, i see no compelling reason for you to jump from a very nice car to another very nice car.

peace.
