This is a little off topic, but as far as the floating feeling is concerned, try hitting 125 in a new VW beetle. I read in C&D a while back that without any body modification, it has enough lift to take off at that speed.

 

On the way home from fall colors I hit 134 with the top down.. It felt very well planted.... Noisy though with top down.. I wanted to go faster just not enough room to do it safely..

 

I got that floating feeling at about 112. I have the lip and factory spoiler, the cut-outs for the baby grills, but not the rubber ducks in front of the tires. Checked my tire pressure and had about 35 #. Lowered the front to 28 # and got much more stable, but floating once sure makes you leary the next time.
