Pedestrian safety, you have to be kidding me , frankly I wouldn't be buying a car if it takes that as a major influencing factor

No, the new 2004 S will be a 3 Cylinder that will have 275 hp and 75 lbs of torque and rev up to 18,000 rpm. 0-60 in 5.1 sec. It will come in two colors, white and red and have no options.

Try tradeonline.com in their collector car search. I looked a few months ago and found a nice one for $19,000.

Do your research as known transmission issues are $$$$$$$$$$$$$ to fix. There is a guy in Germany that everyone claims to be the only guy to let work on the transmissions.

Chain drive...how cool!

Good luck.

Perhaps this is where the Mugen 2200 stroker kit ended up-- at Honda. Thoughts?

Mugen has done outsourced work before for Honda - think NSX.

re: ped. safety

Then you can't buy a Honda. Almost all the current models have this in mind. The new CR-V is an excellent example.

I would particularly like to see th body changed to allow for a better designed retracted convertible storage. Something like the Boxster's no-boot hide-way top (face down, not up storage).

Just my $0.02
