I only skimmed this thread, so flame away if I got anything wrong.
Is this what you've stated?
You bought a car "as is"
You drove the car when it was low on oil
You take corners in neutral
And this is the big one...you drove it for 3 days with white smoke billowing out?

Have I got that all right?

I'm speechless.

^ You've got it mostly right, but you're late to the "what were you thinking" party. We're already in the "trying to help" phase.

Yes he bought it "as is", people do this all of the time, just because it was purchassed "as is" does not give the dealer the right to misrepresent the car (assuming that this is what happend)

He never stated that he knowingly drove it low on oil, just that it was low when he checked after then engine blew.

Yeah taking a corner in neutral is likely what caused the engine to fail . Why even bring this up?

I think the white smoke was assumed to be condensation from the exhaust (still not real clear that it was or was not anything more). The OP obviously does not know as much as some of us about cars that is why he is asking for help

I still am having a hard time understanding how the engine has so many miles on it. Must have been doing alot of road trips in that car...

Guys, I did not get to go take pics/videos of the car today due to some things that came up. I will follow up with you guys on Monday. I just hope the dealership is not toying with my car without my discretion. I hope they are ethical and will let things pan out in the truth's favor..

Regardless, I am 100% convinced that the car was in bad shape before the sale - had I had known the engine was not inspected prior to sale I would not have purchased the car! I was under this false pretense that the motor was in working, mechanical, and efficient condition which is why I bought it despite the 28k miles driven/year since the purchase of the car..

If anyone knows any shops in socal I can tow the car to once I get authorized to do so it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help as I am not to savvy when it comes to car mechanics.

------

Also, the 150 point inspection they had implied during the sale is false. You guys are right about the vehicle and how I have a case despite the sale being "AS-IS." I mean think about it, I drove the car for 3 days and less then 100 miles and the engine seizes? Please, be my guest and try to tell me that the car's current condition is in my fault after my short time with it. It just doesn't make sense.

---

I miss driving the S though.. SoCal is starting to get sunny again and I have no S

If they were ethical you would not have this problem bud.

How can a seller inspection be trusted without a warranty? Ideally a buyer would inspect it themselves or have an unbiased third party do it. Even then any used car engine is a crapshoot.
