I ended up redoing the numbers. I averaged 21 mpg.

My wife is barely breaking into the 20's, but her commute is about 2.5 miles one way.

OTOH, I don't think she's found VTEC yet.

Having no clock in MY00's is kind of an odd thing. It begs questions.

Did those MF's just forget about it? Or was that supposed to be a metaphor for how timeless the car was?

You nailed it. Lack of steering feel/light steering is the only real issue with this car. Guess what, after switching to Michelin Pilot Super Sports, the steering feel improved dramatically. It is lot more meatier (and, slow). I like the feel a lot. In fact, it feels more feel-some than the 981 Spyder. Never thought I would say that about a Porsche. Will post a review of the Spyder on the Car Talk.

One another issue I have is lack of elbow room. Gotten used to it. Switching between Spyder and S2K amplifies the issue, for me!
