RT,

If you wouldn't mind, could you post your solutions for all to see? Thank you so much for your time and efforts!

My car should be drivable tomorrow... first ride in my highly modded Stook (it was totally stock last time I drove it)

I second shaner's request. It would be nice to hear/see what you have done - it might benefit us all.

I will be more than happy to share with all, my only reservation is the unfortunate possibility of suggesting something that ultimately causes somebody a problem!
Also, since Comptech is still actively working on a solution, I do not want to undermine their efforts by introducing new variables.
So for now, I'm going to hold off on posting a solution for "any and all" until either, I'm 100% convinced my solution is flawless and that it will stand the test of time OR in the event Comptech stops being as responsive as they have been.
However, PM me or email me and I'll give you my phone number, if you call me, we can talk real time, that way I can explain each and every detail so you can make an educated (risk accessed) decision of your own as to if you want to try it or not.

Make Sense?

BTW, Tedster and his wife dropped by while I was working on the problem and he and his significant other took it out for a spin upon completion.
WORKS GOOD SO FAR!

I just drove my car for the first time since November... I didn't finish my bumper cover mod so I drove it to get gas without the bumper (looked funny but I still got ~20 people to aks me questions: What IS that)

HOLY COW!!!! WOOOOW!!!

This car is an absolute beast! At VTEC the car emits a monstrous howl and then roar as the car screams to the redline! The sound made babies cry, dogs bark, and car alarms activate! People came out of their houses to see what made that sound! I planned ahead and wore a diaper so I didn't wet my pants to badly...

Not a lick of hesitation... I didn't install the new bleed off valve update yet (got it three days ago) but I will.

I don't know which of my mods made the exhaust + intake sound like it did... but it was LOUD!

I am going to live in this car

I drove my car all day today, and not one hesitation. I think I have about 200 miles on it since I had the new check valve installed. I tried to get it to hesitate but it never hiccupped. So far so good. I will cross my fingers though.

RT keep us posted on your new solution. Harry hang in there, this will all be worth it after all the bugs are fixed.

Well I guess crossing my fingers didn't work, hesitation is back but not as bad as it once was. It seems to come and go, before it was pretty much anytime I stomped on it.

A few of us went on a very spirited drive (above 6K 80% of the time) through Carmel Valley, about 300 miles total. About 40 miles into the drive, I noticed a slight hesitation when attempting to pass another vehicle. Fortunately I was able to work through it and made the pass. It seems to bog down mostly when in 4th or 5th. If I am at a high enough rpm (+6K) when I give it gas it seems ok, anything below it just hiccups and doesnt want to go. If I give 3/4 throtttle it seems to run fine, when I give full throttle the car has problems.

So I guess it is back to square one.

Oh yea, one other thing, I can definitely smell fuel in the cabin

Does everyone here have the HEAVY shifter vibration from 3000 - 5000 rpm (Wesmaster originally brought it up)?

I don't know if you have communicated directly with comptech or not, but if I was you I would call or email them. Mike B's email is listed under his profile and he is very responsive.

my last post was directed at SilverSurfer. Sorry I didn't make clear.

Shaner, I remember noticing more vibration in the shifter, but I didn't pinpoint it to any particular rpm range. Also, I am either used to it now or it has gone away 'cause I don't particularly remember noticing it the last couple of days.
