Yep I have that. Like I described before "shifter feels like a vibrator on steroids" but only at higher rpms...not bad at low. I notice it most around 5K.

Mine has a slight increase in vibration felt through the shifter through the entire rpm range but it is hardly noticeable.

Rocketman: How do you like the Comptech exhaust? I've been thinking of getting one. Any hp increase?

SCS2k,

I have the Comptech Exhaust as well (along with the Mugen headers and BYS straight pipe)... Comptech says it gives additional horsepower when used with their SC. It's a little boomy at low rpm but sounds phenomenal at high rpms... Beautifully constructed and looks great from behind.

I know you weren't talking to me but I felt I could answer too

Also, I am either used to it now or it has gone away 'cause I don't particularly remember noticing it the last couple of days.
I feel the same way, it's either gone - or I got used to it. I think I just got used to it, but it was very strong the first week or so; even when the system was boosting without hesitation, don't feel those two were related.

hey everyone, I will be taking my car to Comptech on Thursday and have them check it out. Shad was very surprised we are having problems with the new check valve. He said he has used that solution for 5 years on the NSX without a problem. I will keep you all informed as to their findings.

Comptech exhaust:
little loud at lower rpms, mainly because of resonances inside with top up, I think, but at speed it sounds great. Sounds even better with top down and don't have those resonances. And it does look good from behind. I work at a Nasa center and one of the guards at an entrance gate stopped me the other day to ask about the car and told me I had "nice pipes"

Don't know about HP gain for exhaust; felt like a little more torque when I got it (before SC installed). I hope to dyno again soon (couple of weeks?), so I can post dyno for SC + exhaust and see if it's significantly more than just SC

SilverSurfer: I have done what you mention on several occasions and have never heard a back-pop

For any electronically skilled people,

Please see other thread on this subject and HELP your brothers (don't know if we have any supercharged sisters yet).
