[QUOTE=Jay2000,Apr 12 2007, 04:13 PM]There has to be something else about this car that makes you uneasy.

The man has a good point. Dont buy something you will regret

That makes sense. Honda has to have a way to set the mileage when they replace whatever unit keeps count. I didn't see the thread discussing this. Do you know whether the mileage is stored in the ECU or elsewhere?
I don't know about the ECU but it's obviously stored somewhere else. I've got an AEM EMS and I didn't get a "do over" on the odometer.

Here is a simple answer to the tire concern, it is not recommended to use different brand tires on our cars. SO2's are expensive!!! if he went to cheaper pirelli's in back he should have swithched the front to pirelli as well, which is probably what happened. Dude you have be going nut's over this!!! In the end it still only a car after all. How much does he want for this car anyway? After you buy it take some pics for us. We want to see the fruits of our labor.

Low miles are pretty common. Somebody sold an 02 a week ago in the FS forum and it had 1800 miles

I'm just not use to seeing a 2000 model with only 25500.

...

the reason I bring up the tires is because he mentioned not ever changing the fronts, but they are perellis. could the 1st owner have replaced them at 10k miles??

Its easy to walk away and settle for another car that isn't exactly what I'm looking for though. I'm not really diggin the tan interior, but I might have to settle for that since there aren't many with red interior for sale. even black for GPW
2000 model with TAN interior??? WTF?
