I live in South Florida so it's always hot. I'll kick the a/c on at long traffic lights or if it's raining, thats about it. I do notice however, that as soon as I turn off the a/c, it gets hot really fast. If anythings to blame, it's probably the black convertible top.

I get heat comming from my center console too like where the cup holders are at. hot air blowin everywhere! I dont mind much tho.
yup,

if im driving around with the fan off, i can feel lots of heat seeping into the passenger compartment, probably due to the nature of the motor and its placement towards the middle of the car

if i dont want to have to use AC, i just have the fan at level 1 AND/OR route the air to the windshield

is your vent selector knob on the 'top down' setting?
So what does the "Top Down" setting do? It seems to work pretty good for cold days with the top down and the heat on, but doesn't help at all on hot days with the top down and A/C on.

Top down with A/C on I run "dash vents and feet" setting. I find that most effective.
