Car&Driver FEB2002: Top Radar Detector Test
walkabt,
Believe me, it's well worth it. I have been nailed only twice since I bought the Valentine, and both times the thing was screaming like a banshee and I ignored it, stupid me. I got away without a ticket on one, but was cited on the other. Other than that, it's probably saved me from tickets a dozen times over the past year.

. Doing something like that is reason enough alone to install a detector. Just a pity that they are also illegal in this country and if they catch you they will dismantle your vehicle (and not put it back together) to deinstall it. Oh, almost forgot about the $2,000 fine too.
Hi Rick,
I read a post from you and ReedZ about placement of the V1. The pictures no longer show up. If you have the time and/or inclination would you either repost those photos or send me an email with the placement and how you did it. The instructions are tough to follow for me without the visual.

P.S. I just installed the full size windscreen with the S2000 logo I purchased from you, looks pretty good! Now, I am just waiting for the headrests and badges and I will be ready to take my S2000 on the road again. No one here, in Phoenix - that I am aware of, has the headrests.
