Also, Fake Carbon Fiber trim? WTF? That is the riciest thing on this car. I'm sure it makes the car go faster too.
Would it make a differece if the trim was aluminum, or painted body color from the factory?
Let's wait and see how it does on the track. The current stock S2K is a very nice blend of form and function. The S2K CR is intended to emphasize the functional (track) aspect of the car. The enhanced aerodynamic body parts certainly look different and seem to be turning people off. The beefed up and tuned suspension and more grippy tires may be the most effective change. But Hondas stated intent was to produce a version of the S2K for the weekend trackster, not the street; and they may well have done that very well.

UMMM... yes. Because it looks and is stupid. Instead of wasting time designing and manufacturing an ugly and pointless part, they should have been working on MAKING THE CAR BETTER!
And as far as invalid points go... what are you trying to get at with the ITR comment. Are you saying that because the ITR has something stupid, and the ITR is a good car, then that means it really isn't stupid?
You know, as the day goes on, this thing is growing on me. The Smurf Blue was shock. But after I got past that and started to look at it as a car for the track, it started to grown. The real differance will be on what they did you can't see. You will only be able to feel as you drive it.
The stock aero looks functional. I am looking at a larger wing than that for the track only car already, so if it was tested in a wind tunnel, even better. If I owned it, it would be stripped, so the CF looking interior just does not matter, at least to me.
