I don't think it will be. From the article, "With the next S2000 not due until 2009, this new factory authorized club-racer will have to do the trick until the next one arrives. "

I know Honda is doing this just to wet the appetite and generate interest again for the 8 yr old S2000. You can bet that the 2009 model will kill this one.

I don't think it will.

It's well known that Honda is moving the next car downstream to compete with the Miata instead of the class it's in now.
