Definitive S2000 CR Thread
I am not a 350z fan per se, but at least the hp, brakes, and suspension and quality of interior appointments has improved, the current car is better than the first couple of years of production. and the hp, is really up to about 306 or 330 i can't remember. those are improvements everyone can measure.
not to bump the engine in the least, but rather work on cosmetics, suspension and more is less (no ac/radio/spare) is not much of an improvement, most of us can tweak the suspension, buy the add ons and improve the weight all by ourselves without much expense or enginerring...i am dissapointed with the car, i do not care how well it corners.
what honda should consider is a bump in hp and torque, perhaps nav for those who crave it, a better stereo, stuff like that....2.5lt engine @ say 270 hp would be nice place to start.

does that tonneau store in the trunk or does it stay in place with top up, or do you need a place to store them both. Sure makes my elec. top seem sensible at least.
What I find amusing is the dismissal before people have driven it. My judgement is out. Considering the CR's focus, it lives and dies on how the wheel, tyre, suspension, weightloss combo functions. The supposed 2 seconds quicker lap on the Honda test track, if real, is not to be sniffed at, considering there's no extra power. Yeah, it's fugly, but that's not the point.

2)What colors will the CR come in?
3)Will the CR be the only version s2000 for 2008? Can you still get a non CR version for 2008?

Two lil things ,one of which I thought should have been addressed a long time ago.
NO OIL PRESSURE GAUGE !!!!!!!
Shouldn't a track model come with single exhaust ?
Best of my knowledge, the brakes are the same as the stock AP2's and NOT colored red or any color for that matter... All the one's you see on here now are photoshopped...
Buuuut I think they should be spruced up a bit from Honda for the CR edition IMO if only painted and with a logo of some sort...
