I was told by Marysville Honda that they have a GPW CR on order no A/C and radio delete
They say it is due to be delivered on October 1st. I would assume the West Coast will be at least a week earlier

The CR blue is very close to what Porsche put on the 993. It's a color I like but I think I might tire of it.
Porsche has been at the put in less and charge more game for years. The RSA was a stripped 964. Delete the sun roof, take out the radio eliminate the AC and it gained cult status. I owned one and still regret selling it. Maybe the same will happen with the CR. Pay your money and take your chances, probably with a few smiles thrown in to boot!

There's just too many pages to read though...but i'm looking at getting an S2000 next year, but is it still gonna be available the way it is now? or is the club ricer the only way to go? I hope they'll have rice and non-rice versions...then i can still hope to get one as my "toy" car =)
sweet, my hopes of having an S2000 is still alive =) Hopefully ill have mine in July of 08 and i'll drive it to get it supercharged the day after i buy it woot. I've been dying for some RWD power since my TL is a torque steer monster....=D

they should discontinue it or totally change it. I rather have it discontinue and hope that it still hold its value like the supra and rx7.
I figure you have 12-16 months to nail a new S2000 of any kind and then they will be gone forever.

They are discontinuing the S2000. 2008 is the last year for the car, to be replaced for the 2009 model year by a Miata-clone with a 200 bhp engine based on the Civic engine, with a smoother ride but, alledgedly, just as good handling as the S2000 (if you wanna believe that). The replacement may not be fit to stand in the S2000's shadow.
