Anyone know what other Ap1 parts are going back on the car?
That video cleared up my AC/radio confusion, thanks. Order them both from the factory as a package, or none. I guess my car will have no AC.
I'm sure those roadster "humps" are removable as well. This is my own speculation at this point.. but... It sounds like dealers will have the option to spec their S2000 allocations as "base" or "CR" .... which means there SHOULD be supply to meet demand and, discounts, if you have a good relationship with a good dealer who isn't doing the "this car is very rare" BS ....
This Cr is stupid! its an AP1 with less amenities for more money. Put some coil overs on your AP1 and you have a good as CR track car. They weigh the same but you get AC and a CD in the AP1! lets get down to the nitty about it! there isn't anything the CR offers that you cant't do yourself with a lightly oufitted AP1 and lets not forget why most of us like these cars. Because we can make them our own by some customization. Any racer knows that if he is using his car for the track only like the CR was intended, there is no cooky cutter driver out there to go with the cooky cutter track car. You still have to set it up for your driving prefrence and style to be most effective. I'm going to laugh at the first guy I see drive by me in one of these, sorry!

But still like driving it to work, putting the top down, and having a full interior? Go ahead and laugh when you see me in the CR. It will be the one with Sparcos and a roll bar and some pieces missing from the interior. And I will have a big grin on my face because I will be on my way to the track.

Hope it doesn't start to rain on you with your top down wile your on the way to the track, might want to bring a tarp and rope with you just in case so you can pull over and cover up those sparco seats. I'll flip my top up and wave wile i'm on the way to the track with my track [ajustable] coilovers AC and jamming out to my CD player wile still weighing less then you. My point is your buying a {cookie} cutter "track" car that doesn't provide enough race performance upgrades over the original to offset the huge comprimises it makes in normal enjoyable driving situations. If you did get full options it would weigh more then the AP1 and it would still not have the ability to put the top up or down depending on the weather, here in the Seattle area this is a must as the CR would not work as the weather can change quickly.

Oh and I myself weigh about 100 lbs! So let's not start a weight contest, LOL. I already have 50 pounds on most people.
Put a single pipe exhaust on the CR and then I'll have another 50! However, it's driver skill that will matter most when you pit the CR vs any other S2K. *obviously*
