Have you considered storing the S2000 for winter and informing your insurance company that the car will be out of service? They will reduce your insurance rate accordingly. Just don't forget to let them know you are driving the S2000 before you take it out of the garage in Spring. I was keeping my mother-in-law's car and insured it as being driven only occasionally. This reduced my rates substantially and allowed me to keep the car insured.

Mass. laws are preventing me from doing that. I'll double-check with the insurance company.

It's an extra $750 to insure the S2000 for the winter with pretty mininum coverage.
