you are all nuts... despite how magnificantly engineered the f20 is, it is still 2 liters with no forced induction and 4 cylinders, that combo is just not fast in a straight line. Fast for a 2.0 four pot? hell yes, but it depends on your definition of fast and that is why there is no right answer to anyone opinion

The same shift in an AP1 from 9000 would put it at 9000(6000/8200) = 6585rpm.

Here is what the "power under the curve" looks like for an AP2 from 6000-8200rpm vs. AP1 from 6585-9000rpm:

So lets sum the areas.
AP2 area under curve = big blue rectangle + small blue rectangle + blue triangle
(8200 - 6000)*155 + (8200 - 7600)*(202 - 155) + 1/2(7600 - 6000)(202 - 155)
= 341,000 + 28,200 + 37,600
= 406,800

AP1 area under curve = red rectangle + red triangle
(9000 - 6585)*162 + 1/2(9000 - 6585)*(195 - 162)
= 391,230 + 39,848
= 431,078

Whaddya know, the AP1 actually has more area under the curve...
Can you do all the calculating stuff with my graph? Im just curious how those numbers compare to my dyno . I rev to 8500

told you ap1 is faster. besides ap1 has only one cup holder where as ap2 has 2 cup holders.do the math, factoring in a 32 oz slushie x2 and consequently obese driver.

You are so wrong my friend. Looks at this video from 2:40 and so on, at the track. Mine is full stock AP1 and the Ap2 pull 209 rwhp in the same dyno that ap1 stock like me only puts 195 rwhp. On this video you can see the torque difference in the ap2 exiting the corner at the end of the straight. But even when I make the mistake of letting the car in third entering the main straight I cath the Ap2 at the end of the straight.

I think that they are a few changes in trannys ratios on ap2 to favor the torque but hurting the top end

I could hear that he was off the gas at the part that you caught up. You are the better driver here, I dont think that is car.

Edit: I continued watching your video, it never happened again you catching him on that straight.

Why cant ap1 guys just admit there car is slighty slower then ap2s? Yes ap1 is more of a drivers car and I really enjoyed driving my old f20c a lot more of a thrill, but if you lined then up on a roll race the ap2 will always pull ahead just slighty I have seen it way to many times.

There was a magazine that did an article about the new ap2 when it first came out. They did acceleration test and proved the ap2 was just a tad faster and then they did back to back dynos and they EVEN QUOTED THAT HONDA IS NOT TELLING US EVERYTHING ABOUT THE F22C AND IS HIDING HORSES POWER SOMEWHERE.
