My driver side window has started to work intermittently when I put the top down. The passenger side goes down with the top, but sometimes the driver's side window will stop after going down about an inch. Sometimes it works fine, and sometimes not.

I checked it over and the window doesn't seemt to hit anything. I am able to put it down with the regular window control. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know the fix?

This has been reported by many. You need a new window regulator - a warranty claim.

 

I just started to have the same problem too.... going to have to get it done in my next oil change.... (3000 miles to go )

I just printed off the TSB 178 (window TSB). My problem just started a few weeks ago. I set up an appointment for that and the 1st to 2nd gear grinding (TSB-055). That also just started a few weeks ago.
