I really want to do this but this will be my last winter in Illinois. I am moving to California this August! No more winters for the S!
It still gets cold here my friend. Hell, the OP lives here in Norcal.

Could you clarify which of "these" you actually have? There have been several different products recommended thus far and it would be helpful to know which product you are currently using.
i have some brand i cant remember....its the carbon fiber ones i think. i got them off of amazon cause amazon happened to have the same brand i was looking at and i coincidentally had a gift for them.

the ones that are 90 for the pair....was that for a back and butt piece for 2 seats?

You can always take them out and move them to a different set of seats

Maybe off-topic, but I remember on pimp my ride (LOL) where they made air conditioned seats by putting a bunch of small fans in seats and using perforated leather. Cool idea, I always thought. Especially where I'm at in Phoenix!
my wife has that in her lexus and it sucks!!! it's the bottom part of the seat so it just makes your balls feel wierd lol....they should have done the back part of the seat

You guys have given me so much helpful info in this thread, much appreciated! My friends always tell me the s2000 sucks with no heated seats so now they have nothing left to say...haha

I will tackle this project when my car is stripped to the bare metal for the dynamat job. This is like dejavu all over again...haha

There is a reason why Honda didn't op for seat heaters. The S is a real sports car meant for a racing heritage. Note that A/C and radio was an option on the cr. But I respect those who op for luxury.
