Read some stats and make an educated guess. don't just go on what everyone says.

Kennesaw is at the edge of Atlanta. It's grown by a factor of at least 5 since the law was passed, and most of the growth was as a bedroom community for Atlanta. You're assuming that the drop in crime was due to guns. I think it was due to the fact that the average income probably tripled.

I grew up near Kennesaw (about 4 miles from downtown). We moved there not long before the law was passed, as the first wave of suburban development was reaching that far north. Besides 2nd amendment advocates using it to crow about, the law has had no impact. I doubt it even had much of an impact on actual gun ownership, much less crime deterrence.

Probably the most telling fact: no-one has ever been prosecuted under the law.
